Your Opportunity

Our Defence and Security Division team within our Australian business are looking for a strategic and results-driven PMO Director to lead the Program Management Office for a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure initiative. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-year Defence program. The PMO Director will establish governance frameworks, drive performance, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives across all program streams.

Establish and lead PMO frameworks to ensure consistent delivery across defence programs.

Oversee integrated planning, budgeting, and resource management across multiple projects and workstreams.

Ensure compliance with defence, regulatory, financial, and contractual requirements.

Lead risk, change, and issue management to maintain program integrity and responsiveness.

Provide strategic reporting and insights to senior leadership and government stakeholders.

Foster a high-performance culture, mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement and PMO maturity.

About You

Proven experience (10+ years) in leading PMOs for large-scale infrastructure or capital programs

Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies

Demonstrated success in managing complex stakeholder environments

Expertise in financial oversight, risk management, and performance reporting

Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or Business
