FIREFIGHTER I/TRAINEE
To participate in classroom and practical training in the performance of a wide variety of technical tasks in support of the fire prevention and suppression, medical emergency and hazardous materials handling functions, to learn the operation and maintenance of a variety of fire and rescue apparatus and equipment, and to participate in prevention and station and equipment maintenance activities.
