Seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support, including benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and collective bargaining assistance. This part-time role requires 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day HR operations across benefits, onboarding, and offboarding
• Assist with employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling of issues
• Partner with leadership on collective bargaining activities and union-related processes
• Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a positive workplace culture
• Administer benefit programs and assist with open enrollment and related communications
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies
Qualifications and Skills
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience, including exposure to union environments
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Salary
$40-$70 per hour
