The Corporate Training and Leadership Development teams at UWM are dedicated to nurturing the growth and advancement of employees at all levels within the organization. These teams play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that UWM remains at the forefront of the mortgage industry. Key functions include but are not limited to training programs, leadership development, performance enhancement, learning resources, and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
This team focuses on cultivating future leaders through targeted programs and initiatives that build advanced leadership capabilities and drive organizational success.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Researching and creating a team building activity on Servant Leadership for the Leadership Development Team
Assisting our Instructional Designers in creating course designs
Shadowing trainings and offering feedback on how we can improve
Assisting the coordinators in event planning
Organizing UWM's leadership library
CORPORATE TRAINING
This team is dedicated to enhancing employee skills and knowledge through comprehensive training programs that drive personal and professional growth.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Learning adulty theory
Helping to facilitate team building activities and escape rooms
Building job aids and strategic communication plans for the team
Shadowing and providing feedback on trainings
Developing a training for UWM
Shadowing and provide feedback on trainings
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2026 or 2027 (current junior/senior status)
The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 18th - August 7th
