Inventory Lead Coordinator

Department:

Business and Finance General Warehouse

Serves as a member of the Stores team in the Molecular Biology Supply Center (MBSC) and Chemistry Store (CHEMS). This position is responsible for end-to-end daily operations, which includes being accountable for procuring supplies for departmental inventory replenishment and initiating requisitions for replenishment, seeking alternative sources and materials when necessary. This position develops departmental supply par levels and maintains processes, polices and workflows to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment/delivery of orders. Makes recommendations related to business processes and purchases; and identifies costs savings and process improvements. Trains/supervises student associates. Flexibility to assist in other warehouse operations as needed. This position will act as back-up to the supervisor and subordinates during vacation and ill periods.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Four (4) years of relevant inventory experience. Ability to work well with others; detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and self-starter.

Desired Qualifications:

Associates degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Process improvement experience; experience with inventory control systems; experience using MS office programs, and MS excel formulas.

Additional Information:

The Target Hiring Range for this position is $22.93 to $29.95 per hour.
