We are looking for an experienced Civil Grader Operator to join our Construction Division based out of Hamilton.

You will be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:

Operate a Grader to shape, level, maintain roads, shoulders, drainage ditches and finishing road surfaces

Perform routine road maintenance, including repairing potholes and controlling erosion

Area wide pavement treatments and overlays including final trim

Subdivision pavement work

Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills

To be successful in this role, you will:

NZ resident or NZ citizen

Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience operating graders in the civil and road construction industry

Able to work independently & have an eye for detail

Class 2 full licence & WTR’s endorsements

Previous experience with GPS / Total station enabled equipment would be advantageous

Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines

Proven experience in supervising and leading a crews

Ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers
