The opportunity has arisen for the role of Technical Records Administrator based at our Dunlin Road premises (Aberdeen).
Reporting to the Technical Records Manager, this position is responsible for performing a wide range of general administration tasks in Technical Records.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the collection of maintenance paperwork and completed technical log sheets, ensuring that all required paperwork has been received and scanned.
Audit of maintenance records received.
Raising any required corrections to maintenance records.
Updating aircraft and engine logbooks as required following audit of received maintenance paperwork.
Updating component log cards as required following audit of received maintenance paperwork and technical log sheets.
Updating CAMO records for aircraft modifications, repairs, service bulletins, etc. as required following audit of received maintenance paperwork and technical log sheets.
Filing of technical documentation as required.
Answering Service Desk queries in relation to their managed aircraft.
Produce end of month reports for tracking logbook entries (faults raised).
Carry out tasks as required by the Technical Records Manager.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)
Qualifications:
Good standard of education including Maths and English.
Experience:
Prior experience of aircraft technical records would be an advantage.
Prior experience in an aviation operational/maintenance environment would be an advantage.
Skills:
Well organised with good administration skills, and an ability to manage priorities.
Good IT skills, competent at using standard functionality of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Good work ethic, with the discipline to maintain focus while working through repetitive tasks.
Understands the need for integrity and accountability.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work as part of a team.
Approachable to both internal and external staff members.
Able to speak up and raise queries when required.
The position offers the opportunity to progress to a Senior Technical Records Administrator, subject to:
The Completion of “On the job training” and the demonstration of a fully completed onboarding process to support the issuance of a company Authorisation.
A minimum of 6 months must be spent acting as a non-authorised technical Records Administrator prior to obtaining a company authorisation.
A minimum of 12 months experience as an authorised Technical Records Administrator, must be achieved prior to gaining Senior Technical Records Administrator status.
