Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week evening shift assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital radiology department with primary assignment in X-Ray
Four, nine-hour evening shifts per week (Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM)
Assignment is 13 weeks in length
Patient care may include adult and high-risk respiratory cases
Must be willing to float between main campus and nearby campuses within 15 miles as needed
EPIC EMR experience is required
Potential to float to support multidisciplinary teams or assist other clusters
May have to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
Responsible for independently performing diagnostic imaging procedures and coordinating patient flow
May perform additional imaging modalities based on departmental needs
On-call responsibilities may be required depending on departmental needs
Expected to maintain equipment and perform duties within professional scope of practice
No more than 14 days of requested time off will be approved, and all RTO must be submitted upfront
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentive programs
Up to 24 hours of onboarding modules will be completed during orientation
Scrub or dress code determined by department policy
Requirements
Associate degree in Allied Health with a focus in Radiologic Technology
Current BLS certification through AHA required
Current ARRT and ODH certification required
Must have operating room (OR) experience
EPIC charting experience required
Ability to independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and administer contrast media
Must comply with a 30-mile local radius rule (locals accepted at the same rate)
Must be fitted for N95 or PAPR if working on high-risk units
License required if applicable
