Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Concord, North Carolina. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong expertise in corporate tax processes and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex tax provisions and filings while ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of annual income tax provisions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Manage corporate tax return filings, including federal, state, and local taxes, while adhering to deadlines.

• Provide guidance on entity formation processes and ensure proper tax structuring.

• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software to streamline tax calculations and reporting.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely implementation of necessary updates.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide solutions.

• Conduct detailed reviews of tax filings to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.

• Train and mentor less experienced team members on tax procedures and systems.

• Coordinate with external auditors during tax audits and ensure all documentation is accurate.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management or related roles.

• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software.

• Extensive knowledge of corporate tax returns and compliance requirements.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing annual income tax provisions.

• Strong understanding of entity formation and tax structuring.

• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws and regulations effectively.

• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and collaborate with clients.
