All bargaining unit and exempt new hires to ODOT must serve a one year probationary period.

If this position is filled internally, the wage rate will be determined in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.

This position has been designated as a Career Professional position per the Ohio Revised Code 5501.20.

Data Administration Manager 1, PN 20050631

What You Will Do:

Take ownership of existing data analysis Python scripts and SQL queries developed and maintained by the Office of TSMO

Develop new scripts and queries as needed by Office

Create reports and dashboards to communicate and visualize Office of TSMO data

Support Office of TSMO's application development projects by providing technical expertise in software development and data management

Who we are looking for:

Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated background in data analysis (Python, SQL, Power BI), data science (machine learning, statistical analysis), and software development (.NET, C#)

Able to parse complex datasets and processes to extract useful insights

Able to work independently and creatively once given a goal to accomplish

Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration or data processing/computer science/information systems technology; 2 yrs. exp. or 2 yrs. trg. in which included responsibility for developing standards for new & existing data definition, product evaluation, recommending software selection, design & development of data bases to include security measures/controls & how data is to be accumulated maintained, archived & removed from system.
