Location: Bartonville/Peoria, IL

Department: Steel Mill

Hourly Wage: $19.65 base + $4-$7/hour incentive pay after training

Shift Options: Swing shift rotation Overtime and weekend/holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily clean-up and housekeeping tasks

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and bobcats

Conduct routine maintenance (lubrication, inspections)

Move and manage raw materials and finished products

Follow detailed safety protocols and SOPs

Train and support new team members

Take on various tasks as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements:

Must be able to:

• Climb stairs/ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces

• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Perform repetitive motion and physical tasks

• Work in extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise, humidity)

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work swing shifts, weekends, and overtime

• Strong situational awareness and safety focus

• Ability to follow instructions with precision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a steel mill, factory, or industrial setting

Forklift or heavy machinery operation

Solid teamwork skills and mechanical aptitude
