Position Summary:

The Leasing Manager, Connecticut is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth across the Connecticut region by managing all leasing activities, building strong tenant relationships, and overseeing the leasing team. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution to ensure properties are leased efficiently and tenant satisfaction is maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy, rental income, and tenant retention goals.

Oversee all leasing activities, including tenant inquiries, property tours, lease negotiations, renewals, and move-ins.

Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, prospects, and brokers.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust leasing strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with property management, marketing, and operations teams to create effective leasing campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Ensure lease documentation, tenant communications, and reporting are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and regulations.

Lead, mentor, and manage the leasing team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and training.

Prepare leasing reports, forecasts, and KPIs for senior management.

Support the resolution of tenant issues, complaints, or disputes in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate sales; experience in multifamily or commercial properties is an asset.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding occupancy and revenue targets.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.

Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of local leasing laws and regulations.
