Youth Development Professional

Job Description

We are seeking an outgoing and energetic people to join our After School Program team! As a Youth Development Professional (YDP) your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our Club members ages 6-14. YDP's will oversee members activities and facilitate Boys & Girls Club National and local programming. As a YDP you will be responsible for the day to day classroom activities in a busy, nonprofit youth organization. Location is Lewisburg Elementary School, 750 Stacker Street Lewisburg, KY. Hours will be Monday - Thursday 2:30 - 5:30 and 12:30-5:30 on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate activities, games, sports, and other outdoor activities

Assist in creating daily and weekly schedules catered to each group of members, their ages, and interests

Monitor members and escort them to various activities

Provide fun learning opportunities

Set up, take down, and maintain Club equipment

Qualifications:

Must pass a background check

Previous experience working with children

Organized and responsible

Ability to work with a team

Part-time
