Now Hiring: Flu Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)

Location: League City, TX

Pay Rate: $37.17/hour

Schedule: Full-Time 32–40 hours per week Includes every other weekend

Schedule Details

32–40 hours per week

Shifts range 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours

Work schedule created in 6-week blocks after 3 weeks of training/orientation

Must be available for every other weekend and some major holidays

May occasionally float to other nearby clinic locations

Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll provide one-on-one patient care in a supportive retail-based clinic setting.

Responsibilities will include:

Administering vaccines and injections (flu, COVID, TB tests, etc.)

Taking and documenting patient vital signs

Assisting providers in emergency situations when needed

Registering, checking in, and checking out patients

Supporting clinic operations (appointment scheduling, reminder calls, managing the waiting room)

Preparing the clinic and waiting area for the best patient experience

Delivering patient education and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in TX

At least 1 year of healthcare experience

Prior experience giving vaccines and injections

Ability to take vital signs and document in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Current BLS certification (must include CPR & AED)

Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Experience using EPIC EMR
