About this position:
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This position coordinates onboarding activities, maintains HR systems and records, assists with recruitment and wellness initiatives, and supports HR programs and reporting. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for new hires and plays a vital role in maintaining organization, communication, and compliance within HR operations.
Salary Range: $50k - $55k- commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Prepare and process offer letters, initiate onboarding workflows, and ensure timely completion of E-Verify and system updates.
Coordinate new hire activities and serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during onboarding.
Act as the HR interface for recruitment, supporting candidate communication, scheduling, and documentation.
Collect and scan office mail, maintain accurate tracking, and promptly respond to or forward inquiries to the correct team members.
Conduct system audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR platforms.
Maintain HR files, perform routine cleanup, and support SharePoint content updates.
Prepare monthly HR reports including employee anniversaries, birthdays, and other engagement metrics.
Assist with developing, coordinating, and promoting wellness initiatives and activities.
Crosstrain as backup for payroll processing to ensure business continuity.
Support general HR functions including employee data changes, compliance tracking, and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with HR team members on projects and cyclical HR programs such as open enrollment and performance reviews.
Required Education/Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment support, or related administrative roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
SHRM or HRCI certification.
Experience with HRIS systems and E-Verify.
Prior experience supporting wellness initiatives or employee engagement programs.
Knowledge of payroll processes or experience as payroll backup.
Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment.
