Pharma Digitalization Engineer

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Pharma Digitalization Consultant to join its consulting team.

As a consultant, you will support our clients in the Pharmaceutical and Energy industries for our brand Infogene (Group expertise in Digitalization, Industrial IT, and Cybersecurity).

In this role, you'll be the link between traditional production and innovative digital solutions, working in a GMP-compliant environment within biotechnology.

About the Role

Data Visualization & Reporting: You build impactful Power BI dashboards and smart reports that turn production data into actionable insights, tailored to colleagues' needs.

Digital Innovation: You lead digital transformation by identifying process improvement opportunities and developing proof-of-concepts to showcase new technologies.

Knowledge Sharing: You foster a vibrant Smart Factory Power BI community through training, clear documentation, and accessible manuals for all skill levels.

Technical Development: You automate tasks and solve production challenges using Python, creating reusable modules and ensuring seamless system integration.

Support & Collaboration: You provide hands-on technical support and advice, helping colleagues overcome challenges and adopt digital solutions effectively.

Quality & Compliance: You ensure all digital tools meet GMP standards, maintain data reliability, and collaborate across departments to validate systems.

About you

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical or production environment

Fluent in Dutch and English

You have a basic knowledge of GMP and what it means for production processes

You are proficient in Python for data analysis and automation

You have knowledge of PowerBI or similar visualization tools
