Job Description

Own the challenge of turning concepts into scalable machining

Do you thrive on architecting processes that run right the first time—and every time after? If designing robust CNC machining strategies for turning, milling, drilling, and grinding excites you, this role is your next step. Your mission

Lead the development of world-class machining processes, from NPI launch to mature production. You’ll codify best practices, standardize documentation, and relentlessly improve performance with data and shop-floor insight. What you’ll tackle

Build and refine end-to-end CNC processes for precision, repeatability, and throughput.

Publish process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (COPs) that operators rely on.

Choose and validate cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment; lock in stable setups.

Use time and capability studies plus root-cause methods to reduce scrap and cycle time.

Drive manufacturability in NPIs with cross-functional partners in product development, quality, and production.

Embed continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen.

Troubleshoot complex machining issues and mentor production teams with practical solutions.

Engage suppliers and tooling partners to validate trials and optimize performance.

Monitor KPIs and initiate corrective actions to sustain control.

Comply with safety policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

Other duties as assigned. What equips you for success

BS/MS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) or 5+ years in CNC machining.

Project leadership with crisp communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approach.

Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Expertise in GD&T, print interpretation, and tolerance stack-ups.

Hands-on familiarity with Emag, Okuma, Mazak, and Kuka controllers.
