Meta is seeking a Communications Manager to lead our communications efforts in Indonesia.

This full-time, Indonesia-based role is pivotal in shaping Meta’s public narrative and advancing our objectives in the country.

The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of the Indonesian media (traditional and digital) landscape, broad experience across consumer, policy, B2B, and product communications, and a proven track record in managing content-driven initiatives.

They should excel in strategic thinking, creativity, writing skill, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Communications Manager, Indonesia Responsibilities:

Plan and execute communications, including developing communication priorities, identifying appropriate metrics and measuring success for the country initiatives

Provide strategic communication counsel and rapid response to complex crises and issues

Identify proactive opportunities to communicate key country priorities, and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring them to life

Develop and implement content-first and social strategies across Meta’s social and content channels, partnering with creators to maximize impact

Proactively engage and inform press, bloggers, and creators about Meta’s products and initiatives

Oversee agency partnerships to drive effective and successful results

Qualification and experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification

At least 10 years of professional experience in communications, preferably with both agency and in-house backgrounds

Robust, well-established relationships with media and outstanding media relations skills

Proven expertise in developing and executing communications strategies that deliver results

Demonstrated experience in ideating and implementing content-first initiatives

Demonstrated ability to manage a wide range of proactive and reactive projects, thriving in fast-paced environments

Exceptional persuasive, decision-making, and project management skills

Experience managing PR agencies

Exceptional judgment, creativity, and adaptability in dynamic environments
