Product Engineer

Product Engineer Job Description As a Product Engineer, you will plan, schedule, organize, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work, focusing on product modifications and application projects.

You will engage in conventional research and development (R&D) and product design, managing complex features such as conflicting design and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities + Conduct research and development activities.

+ Design and improve products.

+ Produce professional engineering and quality documentation within the field of product development.

+ Collaborate with operational units based on project scope.

+ Produce accurate work and manage assigned projects and engineering activities.

+ Supervise and review work results of assigned team members.

+ Make informed decisions based on project complexity and company impact.

+ Identify potential risks and hazards associated with products.

+ Clarify and coordinate engineering questions with lead engineers, other operational units, suppliers, and if required, with other team members.

+ Undertake any additional duties logically and properly inherent to this position.

Essential Skills + Proficiency in design, product engineering, and mechanical engineering.

+ Experience with Creo AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

+ Strong mechanical design capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ensures efficient use of materials and processes.

+ Creates and manages testing requirements.

+ Exemplary written, verbal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

+ Good interpersonal skills.

+ Capable of working in a fast-paced office environment.

+ Successful multi-tasking and ability to handle multiple projects at various stages of completion.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greeneville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
