ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)

Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – may float to Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) as needed

Contract Length: 13-week nursing contract

Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required

Employment Type: Local Contract, On-Site

Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49

Estimated Weekly Salary: $690–$730

ICU RN Qualifications

Active Compact or New Jersey RN license (required at time of submission)

Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or Critical Care RN experience

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

NIHSS certification

Proficiency in ventilator management and basic arrhythmia interpretation

Willingness to float to MST as needed

Flu immunization required (unless valid medical exemption provided)

No specific scrub color requirement; attire must be clean and professional

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Manage ventilators and interpret basic arrhythmias

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to the Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) unit as needed to support clinical staffing

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
