Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient rehab position, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a current SC or multi-state compact PT license.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation unit

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

No weekend or on-call requirements

Possible holiday shifts as needed

Candidate may be required to float within scope to similar units or sister facilities

Epic charting is used in this setting

Daily responsibilities include providing outpatient physical therapy services in a multidisciplinary team environment

Scrub color for this assignment is pewter

Free parking is available on site

Modules must be completed prior to start, averaging 4 hours total

Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs June through November

Returning employees must have at least a 1-year gap since last employment with the system

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year recent outpatient physical therapy experience required

Current South Carolina or multi-state compact Physical Therapist license required at start of contract; license required if applicable

Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Locals within a 60-mile radius are not accepted

Previous permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler

All planned time off must be declared at the time of application
