HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: PCU - Progressive Care UnitDiscipline: RNStart Date: 11/30/2025Duration: 15 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – PCU / MedSurg Float Pool (Oncology Experience Preferred) Start Date: 12/01/2025Duration: 16 weeksShift: Nights, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)Overview Seeking an experienced PCU/MedSurg RN with at least 2 years of high-acuity PCU or higher experience.

Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Staff will float across multiple inpatient units based on patient needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care across PCU and MedSurg units, including adult and geriatric populations.Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy, including central and peripheral line care.Administer and monitor chemotherapy and related therapies (if qualified).Provide respiratory support, including non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC) and oxygen therapy.Monitor and manage telemetry, cardiac dysrhythmias, insulin drips, heparin protocols, and PCA pumps.Provide wound care, including wound vac management.Perform oncology- and surgical-related procedures (mastectomy care, skin grafts, surgical drains) if applicable.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response, respiratory, PT/OT, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2 years of high-acuity PCU-level experience or higherPatient Ratio: PCU 1:3 (can be 1:4 with mixed acuity), MedSurg Tele 1:4–1:5Certifications:Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSPreferred: OCN, Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy CertificationSkills:IV therapy and line managementChemotherapy administration and monitoring (preferred)Respiratory support and airway managementTelemetry/dysrhythmia recognition and managementWound care/Wound VacOncology patient careAdditional InformationFloat Required: Yes, across PCU and MedSurg Oncology unitsCall Required: NoWeekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needsAbout HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering HeroesFounded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S.
