Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment by conducting regular maintenance and repairs. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment failures to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, AC/DC motors, and other electromechanical systems.
Inspect and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems to guarantee safety and efficiency.
Assist in the assembly and installation of new equipment as needed.
Respond to equipment failures and malfunctions, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, AC/DC motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and general mechanical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
