Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Flowood, MS 39232 (Jackson metro area)

Assignment Length: 8 weeks

Start Date: November 10, 2025

End Date: January 5, 2026

Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), alternating weekends (3/2 split: 4 shifts one week, 3 the next)

Hours per Week: 36

Employment Type: Travel RN, W2

Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg, EXT-Other 911)

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Mississippi or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from Flowood facility

Ability to start within 3 weeks of job offer

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

Float to other nursing units as required by facility needs
