Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,680 - $1,800 per week

Mississippi Nursing Job Details

Location: Flowood, MS 39232 (Mississippi healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length: 8 weeks

Start Date: November 10, 2025

End Date: January 5, 2026

Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), alternating weekends (4 shifts one week, 3 the next)

Hours per Week: 36

Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience

BLS certification required

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality clinical care to medical-surgical patients

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer prescribed medications and treatments

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care
