Weekly Hours: 36 (Guaranteed 32 hours)
Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required
On-Call: No on-call required
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
Current NIHSS and CPR/BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
Flu vaccination required for all healthcare professionals
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (Ortho/Neuro experience strongly preferred)
Ability to float to multiple inpatient units, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing best practices and hospital policies
Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with standards of care
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans as directed by physicians and hospital protocols
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Participate in unit-based performance improvement and quality initiatives
Support other hospital units as needed, leveraging clinical expertise in Med/Surg, Ortho, and Neuro nursing
Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
