Loan Clerk/Closer

Job Description

Triad Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Clerk/Closer to join our Loan Operations team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the loan process from origination through closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all documentation and procedures. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and experienced in loan closings.

Key Responsibilities:

Process construction checks and maintain related spreadsheets

Order appraisals, title work, inspections, and surveys; distribute to appropriate personnel and maintain tracking spreadsheets

Upload completed loan documents to the imaging system and create physical loan files

Maintain dealership floor plan spreadsheets, including title check-in/check-out

Prepare releases of collateral upon loan payoff

Mail payments to vendors

Monitor, collect, and scan insurance documents for existing loans

Create Adverse Action Letters when necessary

Collaborate with lenders and customers to gather missing documentation

Schedule and attend loan closings

Qualifications:

Strong experience in loan closings, preferably within a banking or financial institution

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
