Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Call: 8-10 shifts/month, including 1-2 weekends

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to assist Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Neuro Interventional Radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating while maintaining sterile technique. Candidates with IR experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath Lab, IR, EP, VIR, and Neuro Interventional units
Scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures
Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites
Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment (Philips, PACS)
Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Vascular access including ports, PICC lines, and central lines
Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, IVC filters, nephrostomy, embolization, and other interventional procedures
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
ARRT – Registered
Ohio Radiologic License (ODH)
BLS / ACLS certification
Ability to scrub both Cath and IR cases
Knowledge of anatomy, imaging exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology
Preferred Skills:
Venous access and central line management
Experience in hybrid OR settings
Familiarity with advanced vascular interventional procedures
Staffing & Scheduling:
Block Scheduling Available – enjoy predictable shifts and every-other-weekend coverage
Orientation: 10 hours
Call: Required (8-10 shifts/month)
Holiday coverage: every other holiday
Additional Information:
Guaranteed hours: 40/week
Local candidates must live more than 100 miles
Candidates without IR experience may be considered if willing to complete a free orientation class, which we will assist with
