Payroll Consultant

I'm supporting a Belgian payroll services team entering a key transition phase and looking for an experienced Operational Payroll Consultant to ensure smooth and compliant payroll delivery across their Belgian entities.

This 6-month freelance contract is ideal for someone hands-on in day-to-day payroll operations who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

Manage end-to-end (A–Z) Belgian payroll operations

Handle daily payroll tasks and employee queries

Partner closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate, timely payroll runs

Support ad-hoc reporting, audits, and compliance checks

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in operational payroll (Belgium)

Fluent French speaker (Dutch is a bonus)

Available full-time, with flexibility for on-site work

Willing to be on-site in Liège 3 days per week
