Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual for a part-time, year-round Caretaker / Property Manager position for a large vacation rental located in Glenfield, NY. This stunning Adirondack lodge is nestled in 100 private wooded acres on a serene and beautiful small lake. This role is essential for maintaining the property and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including typical home repairs, routine inspections, and coordinating with external contractors as needed.

Groundskeeping: Maintain the property's exterior, which may include tasks like lawn care, debris removal, fall/spring cleanup, general upkeep and for some of these tasks coordinating with third party contractors.

Guest Services: Act as a local point of contact for guests, assisting with check- ins, addressing minor issues, and providing local recommendations.

Inventory Management: Monitor and restock essential supplies and amenities.

Qualifications:

Experience with caretaking, property management, contracting, or a related field.

Effective capabilities dealing with home repairs; carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.

Strong problem-solving, trouble shooting, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Hours: This is a part-time position, requiring 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate guest arrivals and seasonal needs.

Hourly Rate: $30-$40 depending on experience.
