[What the role is]You will lead a team in supporting the accounting, operations, and controls of the Revenue, Accounts Receivable and Credit Management functions.
[What you will be working on]
You will ensure compliance with financial and accounting procedures, and review processes and procedures and drive process transformation to improve efficiency and governance in managing revenues and other Finance functions. You will also lead a team in improving processes, drive system implementations and enhancements, to improve the efficiency and controls of the accounting workflow.
Provide active team leadership in Revenue, Accounts Receivable and Credit Management functions
Review and ensure timely daily billing, receipting and adjustment postings
Review monthly reconciliation schedules and AR Aging analysis
Review Revenue policies and procedures to ensure compliance to Instruction Manual and SB-FRS
Manage and support external and/or internal auditors on audits relating to Revenue and AR functions and grant packages
Provide advisory to Divisions on Revenue policies and processes
Drive Finance transformation projects and leverage on systems and technology to optimize operational efficiency
[What we are looking for]
Trained in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in financial or revenue accounting
Possess strong leadership, thinking and analysis skills, self-motivated and resourceful
Strong communication and project management skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Experience in Workday, Python and RPA (UiPath) are advantageous
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
