As a Financial Accountant, youll take full ownership of the general ledger and balance sheet, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls. Its the ideal role for a finance professional whos detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely postings

- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances proactively

- Assist with month-end and year-end closings, ensuring compliance with IFRS

- Maintain financial controls and support the audit preparation process

- Collaborate with operations and management teams to provide key financial insights

- Support ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and project work as required

Job Experience and Skills Required- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance essential

- 3+ years experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role

- Strong technical understanding of GL management and balance sheet controls

- Manufacturing or engineering industry experience advantageous

- Solid working knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)

- Analytical mindset with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines

- Team player with strong communication and organisational skills
