Description:

Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Supply Chain Management

Develop and implement procurement strategies and departmental policies.

Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective pricing, high quality, and timely delivery.

Maintain up-to-date and compliant supplier contracts and agreements.

Conduct risk management on procurement activities and supplier performance.

Oversee customs, freight forwarding, and import/export logistics.

Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.Production Planning & Scheduling

Collaborate with sales, production, design, and purchasing teams to align forecasts and production schedules.

Maintain and update the master production schedule based on demand and material availability.

Analyze sales orders against inventory and adjust plans accordingly.

Plan replenishment and ensure adequate stock for high-demand items.

Integrate sales orders with production plans to meet customer delivery deadlines.Inventory & Materials Management

Monitor and report on inventory levels, stock accuracy, and wastage.

Coordinate stock counts and ensure accuracy of physical inventory.

Implement effective material planning and sourcing processes.

Report on inventory movement and material requirements during production meetings.Stakeholder & Customer Management

Act as liaison between procurement, sales, and production departments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with customs and bond store regulations.Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Lead departmental KPIs and performance analysis.

Develop and present supply chain and forecasting reports.

Drive continuous improvement within procurement and planning functions.

Identify training needs and ensure development of team members.

Qualifications & Experience

National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Project Management.

Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or planning.

At least 4 years in a management role.

Strong background in material and demand planning, sourcing, and supplier management.

Knowledge of customs, import/export, and freight forwarding.

Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with ERP systems (Pastel, Omni Accounts, or similar).

Sound understanding of ISO 9001 and Health & Safety compliance requirements.
