SCPFO Procurement consultant

Insight Global is looking for a SCPFO Procurement consultant in Columbus, OH area. This role will serve as the subject matter expert in the development of sourcing strategy associated with the procurement of labor, service, material, and technology equipment needs supporting IT business unit functions. Understands key business interests and third parties in the development and writing of the business deal. Applies negotiation techniques and methods to sourcing and contracting objectives. Manages supplier performance, contract compliance, risk, and other areas that support over-arching category management strategies. Leads cross-functional teams and may direct lower-level activities associated with sourcing, contracting or operational efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field

- 5 years of supply chain category management experience

- Experience with sourcing RFPs

- Experience with redlining and negotiating contracts

- Highly experienced with ERP systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with Maximo
