A K-12 school in Aurora, IL, is seeking a qualified Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to provide support during a leave assignment. This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for a professional experienced in behavior intervention and support within educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 schools
Familiarity with designing and implementing behavior intervention plans
Strong data collection and analysis skills to monitor student progress
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Location:
Aurora, IL (onsite position)
Duration & Schedule:
Contract role covering an FMLA leave
Mid-October through the end of January
Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention strategies
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students with behavioral challenges
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
Train staff on behavior support techniques and strategies
Promote positive behavioral outes to enhance the learning environment
