Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead a home infusion pharmacy in Ohio. This direct hire leadership role oversees all aspects of operations including pharmacy, nursing, intake, business development, and revenue management. The Director of Operations will ensure compliance, productivity, profitability, and patient satisfaction while aligning with the organizations mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations across pharmacy, nursing, intake, and business functions.

Establish and implement departmental goals, policies, and operating procedures.

Monitor monthly P&L performance, identify opportunities, and implement improvement strategies.

Partner with Corporate Sales and Development to execute business initiatives.

Support order generation, compounding, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

Oversee HR functions including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.

Promote excellent service to patients, referral sources, and payors.

Direct performance improvement initiatives and manage incident reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (PharmD or Masters in Pharmacy preferred).

Current and active Ohio Pharmacist License.

Minimum 5 years of management experience preferred.

Home infusion pharmacy experience required.

Experience with accreditation processes, quality/performance improvement, and policy development.
