Adjunct Instructor, Modeling for Animation

The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is seeking a Part Time Adjunct Instructor for our Animation Department to teach 3D Modeling for Animation, an intermediate course that focuses on building story-driven models. This class expands on the modeling and surfacing techniques introduced in the fundamentals course. AutoDesk MAYA is the base program, ZBrush is introduced, Adobe Substance is used for surfacing, and the models are deployed into Unreal Engine. The instructor must provide a portfolio of organic and hard-surface modeling examples. An MFA and/or 3 to 5 years of 3D modeling experience is required. This course is remote (all class meetings will take place via Google Meet and/or Teams) and it is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm to 9:45pm.

Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time

Qualifications: MFA degree, and 3-5 years of experience
