Gibson Electrical LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at Gibson Electrical LLC, a leading electrical contractor in the region. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring warehouse organization and timely deliveries of equipment and electrical supplies to our job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently transport electrical supplies, tools and heavy equipment to various job sites, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
Receiving & Storage: Accepting incoming goods, verifying stock, and placing them in designated storage locations.
Order Fulfillment: Locating items for customer orders, picking them, and packing them for shipment, loading packed orders into vans/trucks for delivery.
Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the warehouse, including accurate record-keeping of materials, tools and equipment.
Equipment Operation: Safely operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for safe operation.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with clients and prompt resolution of any delivery-related issues.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating delivery vehicles and working within the warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Clean/safe driving record
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to accommodate delivery schedules.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and safe driving practices.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
CDL Preferred
Experience with safely and properly loading and transfering heavy equipment with truck and trailer.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving or a similar role is preferred.
