Department: Production

Supervisor: Production Manager

Hours per Week: 40- First Shift

Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Position Description and Duties:

Provide support to production management and supervisory staff by performing physical and administrative tasks involved with the production process, and the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials.

Perform all shipping and receiving duties which includes the loading and unloading of trucks

Perform system transactions in the IQMS System such as: Posting Material Receipts, Inventory Moves within the system and Processing monthly inventory. Process routine system maintenance and reporting as required

Perform warehouse inventory control duties which includes regular cycle counts, identify, research and reconcile discrepancies, process system adjustments.

Perform duties on the Production Floor as needed

Perform janitorial duties as necessary and keep work areas clean

Promote and engage in positive communication and the team environment with IEG associates at all levels

Desired Skills:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows Based Operating Systems

Above average written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills

Ability to count accurately, read, write, and interpret information and follow policies and procedures, above average mathematical skills

Previous experience with inventory control, materials management and cycle counting

Previous experience with Warehouse Management or ERP Systems, experience with barcode scanning and affiliated equipment (label printers, handheld devices)

Ability to work independently

Previous experience with customer service

Knowledge of industrial safety in a production and warehouse environment

Ability to operate a forklift
