JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE : GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

DEPARTMENT : FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

REPORTING TO : FINANCE & ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY

a.

Responsible to efficiently manage Accounts Payable (corporate & trade), Account Receivable, GL and perform other ad hoc Finance tasks to meet company’s internal and external customers’ requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Responsible for preparing documents and processing payment transactions through internet banking.

2.

Prepared and issued cheques to ensure timely settlement of business expenses and vendor payments.

3.

Ensured compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

4.

Monitored and reconciled bank statements to maintain accurate cash flow records.

5.

Supported month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.

6.

Support detail for analyzing monthly reports

7.

Recorded and maintained fixed asset register to ensure accurate tracking of company assets.

8.

Monitored Accounts Payable (AP) Aging and Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging to ensure timely payments and effective collection of outstanding invoices

9.

Handled vendor disputes and coordinated with internal departments to ensure smooth resolution.

10.

Coordinated with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.

11.

Other support: Support ad-hoc as Manager request

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Level of Qualification:

Minimum 0-2 years working experience

Bachelor’s degree/ University graduated in Finance & Accounting

Professional Skills:

Fair English of spoken and written

Experience in Account Payable, Account Receivable, GL is preferred

Good knowledge standard of accounting

Good skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, word)

Experience in ERP will be advantage
