**Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the movement, organization, and storage of materials in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. You will be expected to operate forklifts safely, maintain accurate inventory records, and support manufacturing operations through efficient material handling practices.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load and offload pallets and parts using manual and powered pallet jacks.
+ Safely operate forklifts in compliance with safety standards.
+ Maintain inventory organization and perform cycle counts by location and status.
+ Transact materials in the ERP system to match physical movements.
+ Accurately pick, count, label, and transact parts for production operations.
+ Expedite materials and transactions to support manufacturing processes.
+ Deliver in-process inventory to point-of-use workstations.
+ Verify and receive materials via purchase orders in the ERP system.
+ Utilize reel counters and scales for accurate inventory counts.
+ Use appropriate packaging methods to prevent material damage.
+ Store and organize parts with consideration to handling guidelines.
+ Enter cycle counts in the ERP system.
+ Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and adjust discrepancies.
+ Process inventory adjustments following approval hierarchy.
+ Follow specifications for part orientation and packaging.
+ Maintain safety and 5S workplace organization standards.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
+ 1 year of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse work.
+ 1 year minimum experience operating forklifts, including narrow aisle forklifts.
+ Must be PR or Canadian citizen and has resided in Canada for 5 years minimum
+ Must be willing to submit to background check and Controlled Good
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
+ Proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Experience handling fragile materials such as electronic components.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
**Nice to Have Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalency.
+ Experience using manual or powered pallet jacks.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules is preferred.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work closely with others.
+ Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large, organized, clean, and quiet facility. The environment is respectful and inclusive, fostering a positive team attitude. Employees may be exposed to dust, solder, metals, and high noise levels from machinery. The dress code includes wearing a smock, shoe covers, ear plugs, and goggles. The work shift is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and flexible hours when necessary.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
