CDL Fuel Truck Driver

Wood is searching for a CDL Fuel Truck Driver in Freeport, TX.

This is a full-time position.

Must live within a 50 mile radius from facility.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

* Class A or B CDL * 4-10 Schedule * Tanker, Air Brake and hazmat Endorsement * Load equipment and secure loads.

* Time Management * Good Communication Skills * Minimum 1 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle.

* Driving Requirements - Driving ability consistent with maintaining a clear driving * Reading Comprehension - Read and interpret road maps or driving directions.

Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

* Judgment and Decision Making - Be able to judge distances and weights accurately.

* Ability to respond in an emergency.

* Safely operate heavy haul trucks.

* Comply with all DOT regulations.

* Arrive first to open gates and prepare the facility for the day.

* Inspect fuel truck (Unit 360) and ensure full DOT compliance before operation.

* Maintain current DOT license and adhere to all compliance requirements.

* HAZMAT-DOT Training * Ready and fuel the truck as needed * Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable company, state and federal regulations.

* Obtain necessary block entry permits, as required by a client owned facility, prior to entering their properties and/or operational units.

* Dispense the appropriate amount of fuel, oil or fluid into the proper tank or reservoir.

* Maintain an accurate log of dispensed fuels, oils and fluids and delivery said logs to the required reporting location in a timely manner.
