PROCESS TECHNICIAN, METAL FINISHING

METAL FINISHING TECHNICIAN

Train as a Metal Finish/Electro Plating Technician in support of our processing department. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable in a small, industrial environment, can follow detailed instructions, and is excited about the opportunity to cross-train for multiple roles.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Learn and follow established operating procedures.

• Verify racking/wiring/masking of hardware as required.

• Perform cleaning and plating of hardware submitted for processing.

• Work with laboratory technicians to support plating bath maintenance.

• Assist with blueprint interpretations for accurate plating requirements.

• Support calibrations and maintenance of process equipment.

• Maintain chemical and hazardous materials inventory for processing.

• Accurately record process activity for quality review.

• Comply with and promote Safety and Quality programs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 year degree or equivalent work experience

• Handing of Chemical/Hazardous materials

• Math skills to calculate surface areas

• Technical skills handling and calibrating process equipment.

• Ability to diagnose and formulate repairs to various equipment.

• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
