Assembly Tec/ Shipping Specialist

Our client, Fortis Security Products, a leading manufacturer of physical security products, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Lawrenceburg, IN. We are hiring for a dual-role position combining Assembly and Shipping/Receiving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly: Assemble and test physical security products and components, including wiring electrical components and building wiring harnesses, with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.

Shipping & Receiving: Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. This includes preparing orders, packing, labeling, and coordinating with carriers.

Inventory & Quality Control: Maintain an organized work area, assist with stock and inventory counts, and ensure all finished products and shipments meet company quality standards. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment is preferred.

Knowledge of hand crimping tools is a plus.

Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Basic computer skills.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Reliable and a good team player. Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience, with annual performance and pay reviews.

Hours: Full-time, 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime.
