About DAC Development Architecture Collaborative (DAC) is a growing multi-disciplinary firm specializing in commercial, multi-family residential, and mixed-use projects.

Since 2020, our nine-member team has designed over 2 million square feet, delivering collaborative, owner-centered solutions across Central Ohio.

We're seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team and take ownership of projects from concept through construction.

The Role This is a hands-on design position for a motivated professional with 3-5 years of experience ready to lead project delivery in a collaborative environment.

You'll manage architectural drawings, coordinate consultants, and see projects through construction while working directly with clients and contributing to firm growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop design solutions and create conceptual models Produce architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using Revit and AutoCADLead consultant coordination and integrate Civil, MEP, and Structural drawingsManage design revisions and incorporate feedback from project reviewsConduct contract administration including site visits, RFI responses, and submittal reviewsCoordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agenciesParticipate in client meetings and maintain project communication with consultants and contractorsReview construction documents, estimates, and project reportsContribute design ideas that align with project vision and client objectivesMeet project schedules, budgets, and quality standardsSelf-check work and coordinate with related disciplines to resolve design issues Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university3-5 years of professional architectural experience with a strong portfolioExperience with commercial, multi-family, or mixed-use projects preferredProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or BluebeamStrong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materialsKnowledge of the design and construction process from concept through completion What We're Looking ForStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesSelf-motivated professional who takes ownership of their workDetail-oriented designer with commitment to qualityTeam player excited to contribute to a growing firm What We Offer Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000 - $88,000 (based on experience)Quarterly company performance bonusesAnnual profit-sharing opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Company-paid short-term disability401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and flexible paid holidays Work EnvironmentCollaborative team with direct access to firm leadershipFlexible hybrid work scheduleWork on diverse project types from concept through constructionDirect client interaction and involvement in project deliveryMentorship and professional development opportunitiesTeam events and community outreach activities Join Our Team!
