HiFyve is hiring for Industrial Electricians in Shawnee, OK.

2nd & 3rd Shift openings:

2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm

3rd Shift: 11pm-7am

Pay very much depends on experience & skills: $25/hr. - $35/hr.

Position Summary

We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to support copper tube, coil, casting and winding operations. The Electrician will maintain and repair electrical systems, controls, motor drives, and PLC integrations to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, panel boards, motor controls, disconnects, MCCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and distribution systems.

Diagnose electrical failures in coiler, winder, tube forming machines, presses, and melting/casting equipment.

Work with control systems / PLCs / HMI to partner with Electrical Technicians and Automation specialists when needed to adjust control parameters or fix interface issues.

Perform preventive maintenance on wiring, connectors, grounding, safety interlocks, emergency stops.

Assist with installation of new electrical equipment: feeders, bypasses, safety systems. Perform wiring and schematic revisions.

Support start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency breakdowns; ensure minimal disruption in production.

Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant electrical and safety regulations.

Qualifications / Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman electrician certification or equivalent trade school/technical college for electricians highly preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or metalworking environments.

Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, VFDs, motor starters, control logic.

Experience working with PLC/HMI interfaces is a plus.

Good safety record; experience working under lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Solid problem-solving, ability to work independently or in team, physical ability to work in industrial environment.
