Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join the team at Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington. This is a brand new, exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting into our Resort Director on site. As the Resort Kitchen Manager, you will assume full responsibility for all Kitchen operations throughout the theme Park and Hotel.

A day in the life of A Head Chef of Compliance and Innovation:
Take ownership and accountability of operational food management, food safety and financial performance of the food operation
Lead your team to success; This is a people role!
Provide sustained, innovative, and continuous support as we look to improve our menus across a diverse estate. Help the team create and write recipes that Surprise and delight our guests
Develop recipes and monitor stringent GP targets
Ensure our team have the tools and working equipment to do their job
Provide sustained, innovative, and continuous improvement to the profitability of our offers
Coach, Motivate and Inspire a large team!
Take the Lead on the training and development of our chefs and cooks
Carry out regular audits of all our food outlets and always strive to improve our standards of food safety and cleanliness
Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and at the right time
Be accountable for the delivery of strong food GP across the resort and continually striving to improve our profitability
Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality for guests and our client alike
Ensure payroll is completed in a timely fashion
Support the team with operational requirements if needed
You will be set up for success if you have:
Experience operating as a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager within a high volume and multi outlet / site operation
Ability to lead and manage a team and a passion for training
Flexible and punctual - weekend work will be involved!
Able to communicate at all levels across different stakeholder groups
IT literate and numerate
Exacting standards of Food safety and cleanliness
Conducts weekly audits and ensures actions followed through to completion
Maintains accurate records of day-to-day operations
Ensures compliance with all food safety, health & safety and COSHH regulations and company policies and procedures
