Job Description Responsibilities:Design fire protection systems using architectural/structural backgrounds and coordinate with project stakeholders.Perform hydraulic calculations, complete stock lists, and prepare permit and fabrication drawings.Review, stamp, and submit design documents; ensure accuracy prior to fabrication and submittals.Attend project meetings/site visits and communicate design changes with PMs, engineers, and field teams.Identify discrepancies, resolve coordination issues, and verify submittals for fit, compatibility, and compliance.Support project schedules and perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:3–5+ years of fire protection design experience.NICET II and OSHA 10 preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD; HydraCAD, Revit, and BIM/Navisworks experience preferred.Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, hydraulic calculations, and blueprint reading.Detail-oriented with solid communication, math, and organizational skills.
