Why this role matters: We’re growing – and we’re looking for a talented Family Associate to join our highly regarded team in Exeter. You’ll be part of a collaborative group known for delivering clear, strategic advice across financial settlements, child arrangements, and complex disputes. Through litigation, and non-court dispute resolution, we help clients navigate life’s most challenging moments with empathy and clarity.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll:

Advise clients across the full spectrum of family law, including financial remedy proceedings, children matters, and cohabitation disputes

Work with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families, and senior professionals

Handle complex and high-value cases such as pre-nuptial agreements, contested financial remedies, and sensitive child arrangement proceedings

Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, supporting them through emotionally and financially challenging situations

Contribute to the continued success of the team

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a client-focused, emotionally intelligent environment, and:

Is a qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE and a solid grounding in family law

Has experience or interest in financial remedy work and high-net-worth matters

Can manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision and support

Brings excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach

Has a collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a high-performing team
