Pipefitter

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Pipefitter to work in Manchester

Job Details:

Pay: £23.25 per hour

Hours of Work: 7:30am – 16:00pm, some Saturdays required

Duration: Temporary (3 months, estimated to end in January 2026)

Benefits: Weekly pay

Job Role: The Pipefitter will be working on-site at a warehouse in Trafford Park. Pipefitter duties include site measuring and the installation of 2” and 1” galvanised screwed pipework as part of a fit-out project. You’ll be interpreting technical drawings and assisting other trades on-site as required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Experienced pipefitter within the commercial/building services sector

Proven experience working with screwed pipework on similar projects

NVQ/C&G in pipefitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline

CCNSG/SCATS card

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

TIG pipe welding experience

Experience of fabrication and welding work

Commutable From: Manchester, Bolton, Stockport, Wigan, Warrington, Oldham, Rochdale, Skelmersdale
